What We're About

Handstand Kitchen is a woman owned business that has been inspiring young chefs for more than a decade. While our products have evolved from a single cookbook into complete cooking kits and accessory sets, our company mission remains the same: to create joy through cooking together!

From utensils to aprons, all of our products are intended for real kitchen use and made with the highest quality materials. Our safe and fun line of cooking items sets the scene for making delicious memories in your own family kitchen.

Get Inspired

Handstand Kitchen products feature premium quality bakeware and cooking utensils designed to be safe and comfortable for kids ages 6 and up. Durably crafted for real kitchen use, our bright colorful molds inspire kids and adults to come together baking treats that are easy to make and fun to decorate! Handstand Kitchen products equip chefs of all ages to make their own (healthier than store bought) sweet treats! Kids can get creative using the silicone molds for making chocolates, frozen treats, bath bombs, crayons, DIY crafting projects and more! Handstand Kitchen baking sets and aprons make thoughtful gifts for birthdays, holidays or just for fun anytime!

Get Cooking

Cooking is a great activity for families to do together! Creating in the kitchen provides hours of imaginative fun, helping kids build confidence and gain a feeling of self-achievement. Developing culinary skills is great for hands on screen free learning, while baking promotes creative thinking and imagination in the kitchen. Preparing food encourages motor skill development, and following recipes provides a fun way for kids to practice simple math and measurement skills. Cooking together is a great outlet for imaginative family fun while staying safer at home!

Our Owner/Founder

After graduating from law school and working in children's rights, Yvette Garfield wanted to combine her passions for working with kids and cooking. She launched Handstand Kitchen in 2007 with the goal of getting kids cooking from an early age, to empower them with lifelong healthy eating habits. She encourages all little chefs to use their cooking skills to give back to their communities!
