Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Bars 


Measuring Cups
2 Large Mixing Bowls
Electric or Hand Mixer
Baking Dish & Cookie Cutters or Cupcake Mold & Baking Sheet


1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

2 cups rolled oats


1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2-1 cup brown sugar (depending on sweetness preference)
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 cup butter (room temperature)
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Chocolate chips



1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. 
2. Thoroughly grease the baking sheet and/or cupcake mold.
3. In a large bowl, combine the flour, chocolate chips, rolled oats, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Set aside. 
4. In another large bowl, beat the butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar until combined. 
5. Slowly add the dry ingredients mix into the butter and sugar mixture.

6. Once combined, place the mixture into the baking dish and/or spoon into the cupcake mold. 

*If using the cupcake mold, place on baking sheet.

7. Bake for 20-30 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool before removing from mold. 
8. If baked in baking dish, use cookie cutters to cut out fun shapes!
